Pune | Veteran Engineer & Founder Chairman of Millennium Constructions M.B. Nambiar honored with ‘AESA Lifetime Achievement Award’
Pune, 9th June 2022 : City-based veteran engineer and Founder & Chairman of Millennium Constructions, MB Nambiar honored with ‘AESA Lifetime Achievement Award’ for his remarkable contribution in the field of Civil Engineering. He has been felicitated with this honor at the auspicious hands of Dr. Ujjwala Chakradeo, Vice-Chancellor of SNDT Women’s University by Architecture, Engineer & Surveyors Association (AESA) Pune on the occasion of the award ceremony of the 27th AESA Awards. Along with Nambiar, veteran architect Shrikant Nivasarkar was also honored. Ashok Chordia, a well-known builder, Pushkar Kanvinde, President of AESA, Parag Lakade, Vice president of AESA, Convener Vishwas Kulkarni, and Christopher Benninger, an architect were present on the occasion.
MB Nambiar has completed many qualitative and challenging projects on the time. For nearly six decades, he has made significant contributions to the field of civil engineering. He has been praised by many reputed organizations for his quality and safety in the construction sector. Along with the construction sector, he has also taken up the hobby of wildlife photography. In recognition of Nambiar’s work, he was honored with this year’s AESA Lifetime Achievement Award.
“Civil engineering and architecture are independent of each other. The architect prepares the construction plan of the project, but the completion and construction of the project are done by the civil engineer. Therefore, the collaboration between these two is important for good project construction,” praised Dr. Ujjwala Chakradeo, Vice-Chancellor of the Srimati Nathibai Damodar Thackeray (SNDT) Women’s University.
MB Nambiar expressed gratitude towards AESA & Jury members. He said that I have been associated with this organization for many years. It is a great honor to receive this great honor on my 80th birthday. Any business succeeds through the contribution of teamwork. During my journey, the combined contribution of all my colleagues and family made the business of Millennium Engineers a success. This award belongs to all my colleagues. Many engineers and architects met on this journey.”
