Pune to take Oath, “No Honking Day”

Pune : Dear Pune & Pimpri Chinchwad, As you know recently Pune is declared as Noisiest city of maharashtra. In view of this Life Saving Foundation Pune team in association with Pune Police (Traffic Div) & 95 Big FM celebrating thursday 12th December 2019 as “No Honking Day”. Volunteers of Navchaitnya Hasya yog pariwar will be conducting awareness campaign on important signals of Pune & key petrol pumps of city on 12th December morning. Main function of No Honking Day is scheduled at Savitribai Pune university main building & Hon Vice chancellor Dr Nitin Karmalkar, Mr Pankaj Deshmukh (DCP traffic) will be gracing the occasion along with other dignitaries of Pune at 9 am to 10 am.

All colleges of Pune will be taking oath of “No Honking” on this day. Requesting HR teams of IT companies, manufacturing industries to take common oath of No Honking along with their employees in respective premises & support us spreading awareness to avoid unnecessary noise pollution of Pune city.
