Pune: Thieves snatch gold chain in Chandan Nagar

Pune: Thieves snatched gold chain worth Rs 48,000 from a woman’s neck while she was out on a walk in Chandan Nagar area.

A 36-year-old woman has lodged a complaint at the Chandan Nagar police station. Accordingly, a case has been registered against the two persons who were riding a two-wheeler.

According to the police, the plaintiff is a resident of Wadgaon Sheri area. Meanwhile, two days ago, at around 9.30 pm, the woman with her relative was taking a walk outside Sunrise Co-Op society near her house. At that time, the thieves came on a two-wheeler and snatched the gold chain worth Rs 48,000 from her neck and fled from the scene. Police are further investigating the case.
