Pune: Sand supplier shot at Wanawadi in broad daylight 

Pune: The incident of a builder being shot dead in Pune just occurred a few days before, now, another such incident took place. A sand supplier youth in Wanawadi area was shot by unknown persons. Shooters had already absconded before the Police arrived at the scene. This has caused a stir in the city.

Mayur Hande (age 32, resident of Wanawadi) is the name of the youth who got injured in the shooting. A case has been registered at the Wanawadi police station.

According to the information received, Mayur is a sand supplier. Meanwhile, he was passing through Handewadi Road at around 1 pm when he was shot by unidentified assailants at Shriram Chowk. One bullet hit the Mayur’s cheek. He was injured and has been admitted to a private hospital. Upon receiving the information, Wanowrie police and crime branch teams have rushed to the spot.

Meanwhile, a builder was shot dead near the Pune Commissionerate eight days ago. Another shooting has raised questions about law and order in the city.
