Pune Rain | IMD forecasts rain in Pune, Satara, Kolhapur and Konkan region on Ganesh Chaturthi
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Rain | Everyone is making last minute preparations to welcome Lord Ganesh as Ganesh Chaturthi is going to be celebrated on August 31 (Wednesday). Rain is also going to make its presence felt in welcoming Lord Ganesh in Pune and the state. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Pune city and surrounding areas. There is a possibility of rain in Konkan region, Satara and Kolhapur districts, as per the predictions of the IMD. (Pune Rain)
Meanwhile, there is a possibility of increase in the temperature in Pune district. The temperature is likely to remain above 30 degrees centigrade as per the IMD predictions. Till September 2, the temperature during the day is likely to be above the average. The maximum temperature is likely to be more than 31 degrees centigrade.
According to IMD officials, there is a possibility of heavy rain accompanied by lightning and thunderstorms on Wednesday afternoon or evening. The temperature is likely to increase in 48 hours with the possibility of rainfall.
On August 30 and 31, there is a possibility of rain accompanied by gusty winds and lightning. Hence, citizens should step out of their homes after considering these possibilities.
Pune IMD Chief Anupam Kashyapi said that the weather in Pune over next two days is likely to be cloudy and the intensity of rain will increase in September.
