Pune: Police seize cannabis worth Rs 3.5 lakh from youth on Sinhagad road

Pune: Pune Police have seized OG Kush cannabis worth Rs 3.5 lakh from a youth who was selling cannabis produced in the US, Canada, and Afghanistan.

The arrested has been identified as Akshay Prakash Shelar (35, resident of Bavdhan). A case has been registered at Sinhagad Road police station.

The investigation team under the guidance of senior inspector Devidas Gheware was patrolling the Sinhagad police station premises on Thursday night. At that time, they came to know that a young man had stopped on the public road in front of The Smoke Shop near Ganga Bhagyodaya Society in Budruk, Wadgaon with the intention of selling drugs.

Accordingly, the squad set a trap here and caught the young man with a black sack.
