Pune Police News | Brain dead Pune police staff Swapnil Garad no more; Pall of gloom descends on Pune police department

PUNE : Swapnil Garad of Pune police, who had become brain dead after climbing Mount Everest, had been admitted to a hospital in Kathmandu for treatment. But he died today at 3.45 pm during treatment. A pall of gloom descended on the Pune police department after the news about his death was received.

 

Garad was posted at the Economic Offences Wing and a few days ago, he had gone to scale Mount Everest. After climbing Mount Everest, he developed health problems and he was admitted to a Kathmandu hospital for treatment. However, he died today at 3.45 pm during treatment.
Swapnil Garad was an expert mountaineer and had climbed many important mountains in the world.

 

Meanwhile, Garad had climbed the most beautiful and technically difficult Mount Ama Dablam in Nepal. After climbing the mountain, he hoisted the Tricolour and saluted an idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
