Pune: Now, cop’s son drives car recklessly, hits, injures woman

Pune: A woman was seriously injured after the son of a policeman drove his car recklessly and hit her in Pimpri-Chinchwad. The victim is undergoing treatment at a hospital.

The incident was recorded in CCTV from the area. Vinay Vilas Naikare (23) has been booked and arrested 24 hours after the accident. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon. The car hit the woman hard when she was crossing the road.

Jivaram Tejaram Chowdhary lodged a complaint. A case has been registered under sections 279, 337, 338 of the IPC and sections 182, 119/177 of the Motor Vehicles Act.
