Pune: Neighbour films woman taking bath in Yerwada

Pune: Crime against women is rising in the city. A person filmed a 39-year-old neighbour woman taking a bath on the sly.

The woman lodged a complaint at the Yerwada Police Station. The accused has been identified as Vishwajit Shankar Patil (24), a resident of Yerwada. An offence has been registered under sections 354, 354(c)(d) of the IPC. The incident took place at around 10.30 am on Thursday.

According to the police, the complainant was bathing in the bathroom of her house. The accused filmed her through the window of the bathroom. The victim started shouting after realising this. The accused escaped from the spot. The woman immediately lodged a complaint at the Yerwada Police Station. The police are investigating further.

Man misbehaves with a woman

In a similar incident in Padmavati area, a person barged into a woman’s house. He passed lewd remarks and misbehaved with her. The incident took place at around 8 pm on Monday.

After discussing the incident with her family members, the 22-year-old victim lodged a complaint at the Sahakar Nagar Police Station. The accused has been identified as Yuvraj Jambu Kamble (23), a resident of Padmavati.

PSI Kalpana Kale is investigating further.
