Pune: Minor Girl Molested Threatening Rape; Three Individuals Including Two Women Booked

Pune: By taking advantage of the loneliness of a 15-year-old minor girl in the house, three individuals entered her house and abused her. Furthermore, they also molested the minor girl by threatening to rape her. This incident took place within the limits of Chaturshringi Police Station on May 14 at around 7.30 in the evening.

In this case, three individuals, including two women, have been booked and arrested by Chaturshringi police under the POCSO Act. According to the police complaint, three individuals broke into the minor girl’s house, seeing that no one was present in the house.

When the minor girl started screaming and shouting, the accused abused and molested her by threatening to rape her. The girl mentioned that one of the accused, Pradeep Babu Alkunte, held her hands tightly and did obscenities with her.

Following the complaint filed by the minor girl, Chaturshring police registered a case against Surekha Komrekar, Kajal Alkunte, and Pradeep Babu Alkunte (all living in Janwadi Janata Vasahat) under IPC 354, 504, and 506 and the POCSO Act. Further investigation is being conducted by Assistant Police Inspector Sujata Shanme.

Daylight Molestation of a Young Girl:

A 29-year-old girl was allegedly molested while she was walking through the road and also demanded physical pleasure from her. This incident took place on Sunday, May 18, in the Hadapsar area.

In this regard, a case has been registered under IPC 354, 354(a), 509, and 34 against Manjunath Nagesh Mane (age 26 of Hadapsar) and Akash Dattatray Bharti (age 25 of Manjri) at Hadapsar Police Station. Further investigation in this case is being conducted by Sub-Inspector of Women Police Suvarna Gosavi.
