Pune: Marketyard police book three persons for defrauding a rice trader of Rs 38.34 lakhs

Pune: Police registered a FIR against three persons from Hyderabad for allegedly deceiving a rice trader of Rs 38.34 lakhs. This incident occurred between February 25 2020 and March 2021.

The accused have been identified as Hasan Machliwala, Ibrahim Mohammad and Mohammad Khaja Moinuddin, all residents of Hyderabad, Telangana. Dhawal Rajesh Shah (39), resident of Ardshanagar, Marketyard has lodged a complaint with the Marketyard Police.

According to the police, Dhawal Shah has a shop named Jayaray and company in Marketyard area. The accused bought rice worth Rs 38.34 lakhs by acquiring his trust. The trio later refused to pay the sum amount of the product Upon realising that he was defrauded, Shah filed a complaint with the police. Assistant Police Inspector Daberao is investigating the case further.
