Pune : Kolte Patil Developers proprietor, managing director booked for cheating

Pune : NP News 24 – An FIR has been registered by Pune city police against the proprietor and managing director of Kolte Patil Developers for allegedly duping a man and his sister-in-law of Rs 1.21 crores by taking the amount and not handing over 4 2-BHK flats to them.

As per the case registered with Warje police station, the incident took place in 2015 at the site office of KP Towers at Kakade City. Ashish Dubey (41) of Karvenagar, who runs a coaching institute, had booked two 2-BHK flats in KP Towers being developed by the Kolte Patil Developers. His sister-in-law also booked two 2-BHK flats and they they paid Rs 1.21 crores. However, they did not get possession of the flats. The project is not completed yet. When they asked the builder to return the amount, they did not get back their money.

Hence, they lodged complaint with police. The cops have registered the case for offences under sections 420 (cheating), 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code, and relevant sections of the Maharashtra Ownership of Flats Act.
