Pune : Legislative Council graduate elections are near in the state. Tomorrow is the last day for candidates to apply for this election. Therefore, there was a rush today to file the applications of the candidates. The application filed by Rupali Patil for a Pune graduate was eye-catching on Wednesday. In a way, Rupali Patil-Thombre has maintained the ‘Hatke’ tradition of MNS.
Before the BJP, Congress, Shiv Sena and NCP, MNS has fielded its female candidate Rupali Patil-Thombre for the forthcoming assembly elections in five constituencies in the state. Following the promise given by Raj Thackeray to Patil during the assembly elections, her name has been announced for the graduates. Therefore, Patil has started preparations for this election and has also taken the lead in the campaign. She also met MP Udayan Raje in Satara two days ago.
MNS said that whether it is an election campaign or any movement, they always try to do it in a different style. Rupali Patil-Thombre has maintained that tradition even today while filing applications for graduation. She did not come with thousands of MNS workers today but came to the Vidhan Bhavan with an unemployed graduate girl and got her application filled by the girl. Although she has maintained MNS’s ‘Hatke’ style. She became a topic of discussion after this.
Regarding this, Rupali Patil said, I could have brought five to ten thousand MNS workers like others to file applications today. But she got her nomination papers filed by only one unemployed graduate. “Because I don’t just want to fight this election to become an MLA, I want to solve the various problems of the educated unemployed.”
Regarding this, the unemployed graduate young woman said, “My parents have a business of selling vegetables. I studied until graduation. But for the last eight years I have been trying to get a job. I didn’t get a job anywhere. Now I expect that some way will be found out of this.”
