Pune: Good news for Metro passengers, now reach Metro stations easily and quickly
Pune: New entrances of five Metro stations have been opened to facilitate easy entry of passengers to them. These Metro stations are Pune Municipal Corporation main building, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Garden, Deccan Gymkhana, Kalyani Nagar and Bopodi.
The Pune Municipal Corporation main building metro station’s new entrance is on the bank of the river, from where passengers can walk on the pedestrian bridge. There is no need to cross the road. The new entrances of the Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Deccan Gymkhana metro stations are on the opposite side along the Jangli Maharaj Road. Therefore, passengers can enter the gates without crossing the road.
Passengers can enter the pavements of the Bopodi and Kalyani Nagar metro stations through their new gates. This will allow them to access the metro stations safely and easily without spending time on crossing the roads. This will also end crowding at the existing entrances.
