Pune – Firing on PSI outside ‘dance bar’

NPnews24 Online : Pune – In another case of people not having fear of law, a police sub inspector sustained bullet injuries when he went to sort out quarrel at an Orchestra-cum-Dance bar in Vadgaon Maval. Police have arrested three persons in the case.

The incident took place late Friday night at Flavours Hotel. PSI Nitin Mohite has got bullet injuries on his leg.

The arrested persons have been identified as Dada Balu Dhawale (38), Sunil Vilas Palkhe (27) and Santosh alias Balasaheb Gaikwad.

According to police, after getting information about fight between two groups at the dance bar, a team led by PSI Mohite reached there. He was talking to both the sides, Dhawale fired at him. He was rushed to a nearby private hospital. His condition is stable.
