Pune: Dhayari based Ayurvedic doctor turned event manager ends life after suffering loss in business

Pune: An Ayurvedic doctor turned event management professional ended his life at his residence in Dhayari after he suffered loss in his business. The incident took place on Saturday however came to light on Tuesday late evening.
The deceased man has been identified as Rupesh Suresh Patil (31), a resident of Sharvil Society in Dhayari. Patil is survived by his wife and mother. He had a small clinic in Dhayari area.
Since he did not receive good response to his medical practice, Patil had started an event management business just before the lockdown was announced. Patil had suffered huge loss in his business prior to the lockdown.

According to police, Patil’s wife and mother had gone to Gujarat for a medical treatment purpose. Patil was diabetic and was staying alone for the last few months. He ended life on Saturday (December 19). Since then the house was closed and his neighbours noticed it. The neighbours informed Patil’s relatives and police about it and then it was revealed that Patil had ended his life.
A case of accidental death has been registered at the Sinhagad Road police station in this regard. Police searched the house of Patil and they have recovered a piece of paper. Patil has reportedly mentioned the cause of business losses as the main reason for ending his life.
