Youth held for raping minor girl in Pune

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | The Vishrambaug police have arrested a youth for raping a 16-year-old girl after luring her with the promise of marriage and threatening to make objectionable photos viral. (Pune Crime)

The arrested accused has been identified as Siddharth Sureshkumar Sharma (19), a resident of Indralok Society, Tadiwala Road. The girl’s mother has filed a complaint with the police. The incident took place in Narayan Peth and Radha Cottage in Kalyani Nagar from September 2021 to March 24, 2022.

According to the police, although the complainant knew that the 16-year-old girl was a minor, Siddharth Sharma threatened to make her photos viral and raped her. He promised to marry her and established physical relations with her after taking her to various places. The complainant filed a complaint with the police after she came to know about the incident.
