Pune Crime | Youth booked for molesting 4 women doctors by Koregaon Park police
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | A youth seeking treatment at a hospital sent obscene photos on a WhatsApp helpline number of the hospital and molested four women doctors. A person hailing from Andhra Pradesh has been booked under the IT Act in this regard. (Pune Crime)
The incident took place between 2018 and January 2022. The accused has been identified as Tirupatirao Gummadi, a resident of Srikakulam, AP. A woman doctor lodged a complaint with the Pune cyber police. The cyber police transferred the case to the Koregaon Park police station.
According to the police, the complainant works in a hospital on Dhole Patil road. The accused was admitted to the hospital in 2018. A surgery was conducted on him. Patients are given a WhatsApp number for follow-up calls. The mobile is used by the complainant and three other women doctors. The accused sent obscene messages and photos on this number and molested the women doctors, stated the complaint.
