Pune crime | Two booked for cheating a trader of Rs 3.65 lakh in Kondhwa
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune crime | Two persons have been booked for cheating a trader of Rs 3.65 lakh by falsely promising him to issue the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) property tax receipt. However, they issued a fake tax receipt of the same amount. (Pune crime )
Vijay Dhyanchand Walia (56), a resident of Kondhwa, lodged a complaint in this regard. Pravin Dangi (35), a resident of Katraj, and Aradhana More (35), a resident of Sainagar, have been booked in this regard. The incident took place at Parshwa Nagar, Kondhwa between August and October 2021.
According to the police, the complainant owns a godown, where he stores carpets, in Kondhwa. The accused won his confidence and promised him to issue a property tax bill for his property. The duo took more than Rs 3.65 lakh from the complainant from time to time. Later, they issued a fake receipt to him. The complainant realized that he was cheated. Hence, he approached the police.
