Three people held for operating prostitution racket from spa in Baner
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | A prostitution racket was being operated from a spa in a posh society in Baner. The racket was exposed by the social security cell of Pune Crime Branch. They raided the Divine Spa and arrested three people including the manager. (Pune Crime)
The arrested accused have been identified as Deepak Krishna Patil (26), a resident of Divine Spa, Sai Heritage, Baner, Panchmaya Lepcha, a resident of Rich Line, Link Road, Pashan and spa manager Sachin Prakash Shinde (24), a resident of Driver Colony, Kalewadi. A case has been filed against Pravin Dhondiram Durgude (25), a resident of Dighi.
Divine Spa was being operated from the first floor of posh Sai Heritage society at Baner. The SSC cell came to know that a prostitution racket was being operated from the spa. The police sent a decoy customer. The police raided the spa after confirming about illegal happenings there. Three girls were rescued and the spa manager and the owner have been arrested. Senior PI Rajesh Puranik is probing the case.
The action was taken by a team of police officials including Senior PI Rajesh Puranik, PSI Supriya Pandharkar and the policemen from their team under the guidance of Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta, Jt CP Dr Ravindra Shisve, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale and DCP Srinivas Ghadge.
