Pune police crime branch officials arrest two men for committing robberies after suffering losses in paint work

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime |  Two persons hailing from another state who had committed robberies in Pune were arrested by unit three of Pune police crime branch. The investigation has proved that the accused had committed robberies to make up for losses in their painting work. Seven crimes have come to light with the arrest of the two accused and goods worth Rs 2 lakh 16 thousand have been seized from them. (Pune Crime)

 

The accused have been identified as Raj Anganuram Gautam (26), a resident of Katraj but hailing from Uttar Pradesh and Vijay Shivmurat Ram Kumar (20), a resident of Katraj but hailing from Uttar Pradesh.

 

The crime branch officials took this action in the jurisdiction of Alankar police station.

 

Officials of unit three of the crime branch were patrolling in the limits of Alankar police station. Policemen came to know that two persons were standing in front of Ram mobile shopee and were trying to sell stolen mobiles. The police laid a trap and arrested both of them. When their bag was searched, they found 12 mobile handsets. Goods worth Rs 2 lakh 16 thousand including 12 mobiles and the two-wheeler used in the crime.

 

The accused have committed crimes in the jurisdiction of Alankar, Kondhwa, Sinhagad Road, Chatuhshrungi, Hinjewadi, Warje Malwadi police stations. Seven crimes have come to light with their arrest. The accused have been handed over to the Alankar police for further investigation.

 

The action was taken by a team of officials including PSI Gunga Jagtap, policemen Santosh Kshirsagar, Rajendra Marne, Ramdas Gonte, Sujit Pawar, Sanjeev Kalambe, Pratap Padwal, Rakesh Tekawade, Dnyaneshwar Chitte, Sainath Patil, Deepak Kshirsagar, Satish Kantrale, Ganesh Shinde, Sonam Nevse and Bhagyashree Waghmare under the guidance of CP Amitabh Gupta, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, DCP Srinivas Ghadge, ACP Gajanan Tompe, and Senior PI Anita More.
