Pune-based software engineer husband lodges complaint against wife for disturbing mental health by sending porn videos

A 33-year-old youth staying in Warje has lodged a complaint at the Warje Malwadi police station. An FIR has been registered against his wife who stays in Dhule.
According to the police, the complainant hails from Dhule and now stays in Warje Malwadi in Pune. He is working as a software engineer in a Bengaluru-based company and is presently working from home. He got married to Priyanka from Dhule in 2018. After marriage, they went to stay in Mumbai. Priyanka was unhappy from the beginning and they used to quarrel over minor issues. Priyanka used to send him messages saying she wanted a divorce. Her relatives tried to reason with her but there was no change in her behaviour. Hence, she was sent to her parents’ house for a few days.
Later, she came to stay in Pune alone. The complainant met her and asked her to stay with him. She told him that she wanted to do a software development course of 7-8 months and asked him not to disturb her. She also told him that she did not want to stay with him and wanted a divorce. Hence, the complainant submitted an application against his wife for a divorce in the family court in 2019. She filed a case of harassment and sought maintenance in a Dhule court.
When these cases were pending, Priyanka sent porn videos from her email ID to him from February 18, 2019 to March 28, 2021 to harass him. Since she has caused him mental harassment, it has also badly affected the family badly disturbing their physical, mental and financial health.
The complaint says that she may have sent such videos to other people.
The police have registered a case under the IT Act.
