Policeman rapes teacher in Pimpri-Chinchwad
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | An incident has come to light in Pimpri-Chinchwad wherein, a policeman raped a teacher staying with her daughter and forced her to undergo an abortion after she became pregnant. A FIR has been filed at Bhosari police station. (Pune Crime)
The incident took place from October 2020 to January 2, 2022 in Sakhrevasti, Bhosari and Hinjewadi phase one. The incident has created a flutter in the police force.
The accused has been identified as Akash Prakash Pandhre (30). A professor (28) has lodged a complaint at the Bhosari police station on Saturday. The accused Akash Pandhre is posted at the Hinjewadi police station. He took advantage of the fact that the woman was staying alone and raped her frequently after promising marriage. The police have registered an FIR under various sections of the IPC.
According to the police, the complainant stays alone with her daughter in Bhosari. The accused took advantage of her loneliness and threatened her by telling her that he was a policeman. He lured her by telling her that he will marry her.
He took her to various places and forcibly established sexual relations with her. He forced her to consume abortion pills after he came to know that she was pregnant, says the complaint.
