Pune Crime News | Youth assaulted over previous enmity in Gultekdi

PUNE : Pune Crime News | An incident has come to light wherein a youth who had come to a settlement four months after a dispute, was assaulted and his hand was fractured thus creating terror in the area.

 

The arrested accused have been identified as Sameer Chand Sheikh (19) and Aditya Sanjay Meshram (19), both residents of Gultekdi. Dishant Dattatray Lagade, a resident of Kondhwa, has lodged a complaint (136/23) at the Swargate police station. The incident took place at Minatai Thackeray settlement in Gultekdi on Sunday at 8.30 pm.

 

According to the police, the complainant and Sameer Shaikh had a row four months ago. The complainant had come to Minatai Thackeray settlement to meet his friend Yogesh Khude. When they were talking, Sameer Shaikh and Aditya Meshram came there. Sameer assaulted the complainant with an iron rod and fractured his hand. The complainant entered a lane and Aditya Meshram hit the complainant on his back and head with a bamboo stick. After he fell, he was kicked by Shaikh. Shaikh hit the complainant’s head with a stone. Later, they started shouting in the area and vandalised a vehicle.

 

The complainant has received stitches on his head and his hand has been fractured. The doctors have put a plaster around his shoulder and asked him to undergo an operation. The police have arrested two persons and API Jamdade is probing the case.
