Pune Crime News | Woman hired for looking after senior citizen, cheats her of ₹5.21 lakh

PUNE : Pune Crime News | A woman who had been given the task of looking after a senior citizen, obtained the PIN of an ATM card and withdrew ₹5.5 lakh from the account. A 56-year-old woman has lodged a complaint (151/23) at the Vishrantwadi police station. Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR against a 33-year-old woman staying at Jaikwadi. The incident took place from April 26 to June 9.

 

According to the police, since the complainant was going to Canada, she had appointed a woman to take care of her mother and also do household work. The woman stole the seven tola gold chain of the complainant’s mother. She got the PIN of the ATM card of IDBI Bank and withdrew ₹5.21 lakh from her account.
