Pune Crime News | Three cars broken into in 15 minutes; Goods worth ₹42,000 stolen
PIMPRI : Pune Crime News | Unidentified persons broke the windshield of three four-wheelers parked in the parking area and stole cash and laptops. The incident took place on July 1 at 8.30 pm to 8.45 pm on Talegaon-Chakan road near MRF showroom.
A woman has lodged a complaint at the Talegaon police station and accordingly, an FIR has been registered against unknown persons.
According to the police, the windshield of complainant’s Creta car was broken and cash of ₹12,000 was stolen, ₹10,000 was stolen from another Creta car and a laptop worth ₹20,000 and some documents totally worth ₹42,000 were stolen. In 15 minutes, the windshields of the cars were broken and cash and other goods were stolen. The Talegaon police are probing the case.
At Pimple Saudagar, unidentified persons stole goods worth ₹1.5 lakh after breaking open the shutter of a grocery shop. The incident took place on July 2 (Sunday) from 3.30 to 4 am.
Achalramji Gomaramji Choudhary (42), a resident of Pimple Saudagar, has lodged a complaint at the Sangvi police station. Accordingly, an FIR has been registered against an unknown person.
According to the police, the complainant has a grocery shop at Pimple Saudagar named New Balaji Traders. Unidentified persons broke the shutter’s lock and stole ₹1.53 lakh and a mobile of a worker worth ₹2,000 totally worth ₹1.55 lakh. The Sangvi police are probing the case.
A team of Crime Branch unit 1 has arrested a goon for moving around with a sharp weapon and has seized a sickle from him. The accused has been identified as Karan Kumar Jadhav (26), a resident of Moshi.
According to the police, the police arrested an externed criminal at Moshi Bhosari with a sickle. The accused had been externed by the Pimpri Chinchwad police on February 17, 2022 for two years from Pune district. But still the goon entered the city by violating the orders and a weapon was found on him. The MIDC Bhosari police are probing the case.
