Pune Crime News | So-called social worker held for raping a minor girl from a hostel he worked in Hadapsar
Pune : Pune Crime News | A so-called social worker has been arrested for calling a minor girl, who stays in a hostel pursuing her studies, and forcefully having sex with her. He also filmed this act and used to threaten her to make it viral on social media and raped her frequently.
Lawrence Francis Anthony (50), a resident of Manjari, has been arrested. The 20-year-old woman lodged a complaint at the Hadapsar police station. The incident took place at the home of the accused from April 2019 to September 2021.
According to the police, the complainant was staying in a school hostel, where Anthony was working. He told her that he would start a new hostel in Pimpri-Chinchwad, where better facilities would be provided. Later, he took her to his house, where he asked her to do his household chores. He had physical relations with her when his wife and children were not at home. He filmed this acts and threatened her to make them viral and frequently raped her. He has been arrested and PSI Bhapkar is investigating the matter.
