Yashwant Munde of Latur loses his life, Anuja Panhale of Ahmednagar also injured
PUNE : Pune Crime News | A girl went to her friend’s house for studies but an argument took place between them and the girl, who was angry, killed her friend by repeatedly stabbing him. The girl was also injured in the incident and she is being treated in a hospital. The incident took place in the limits of Lonikand police station in the friend’s room near Raisoni College in Wagholi.
The injured girl has been identified as Anuja Mahesh Panhale (21), hailing from Kolar, Ahmednagar district. She has killed Yashwant Ashok Munde (22), a resident of Latur. Anuja Panhale and Yashwant Munde were studying in Raisoni College. Since the examination was going on, they were studying together. On Sunday night, Anuja Panhale had gone to Yashwant Munde’ room to study. On Monday morning, there was an argument between them over some issue.
After the argument escalated, Anuja took a knife used for cutting vegetables and assaulted Yashwant Munde. There was a scuffle between them and Yashwant died on the spot and Anuja was seriously injured. After being informed about the incident, Sr PI Gajanan Pawar of Lonikand Police station, API Nikhil Pawar and other officials rushed to the spot.
Anuja Panhale was admitted to a hospital for treatment. An FIR has been registered at the Lonikand police station and API Nikhil Pawar is probing the case.
