Man sets his own home, car on fire, visits a Tamasha show

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | A man set his home and vehicle on fire at Pimpale Jagtap in Shirur Taluka of the district. The incident happened when the village fair was going on. The police reached the spot after knowing about the incident. The police and citizens extinguished the fire. The police have detained the man. (Pune Crime News)

The man has been identified as Prajyot Tambe. According to the details received, the parents of Prajyot Tambe from Botre Vasti in Pimple Jagtap had gone to Wajewadi. Prajyot set the vehicle parked beside the home on fire. He then entered the home and set things there on fire. As the vehicle caught fire, all four tires and the AC cylinder of the car exploded. Prajyot ran away from there. The car got burnt down.

Neighbours panicked after seeing the house on fire. They extinguished the fire. The car was burnt down until neighbors extinguished the fire. Moreover, food, clothes and some expensive items in the house were burnt. A large crowd of citizens had gathered by this time. One of them told the police about the incident.

Prajyot set the car and the house on fire and went to watch a Tamasha show in the village fair. When the police came to know that Prajyot was watching the Tamasha show, they went directly there and searched for him. He was enjoying the show. The police detained him.
