The Samarth police have registered a case against Saurabh Supekar from Bhawani Peth.

A 22-year-old girl from Mangalwar Peth has lodged a complaint at the Samarth Police Station. The incident was going on since December 2020 at Mangalwar Peth and Bavdhan.

According to the police, the complainant and the accused are known to each other. Saurabh frequently urged the complainant to get married with him. He forced a physical relationship with her. He also forced her to register their marriage on October 11, 2021. He then started threatening to make the videos of their relationship viral on social media. He started demanding money from her. He extorted Rs 10 lakh from her. He forced the complainant to stay at his house. When she refused, he abused her family members and chased her. Finally, she lodged a complaint and the police registered a case against Saurabh Supekar.
