Pune : Pune Crime News | A man and two others have been booked for sending a triple talaq notice by post to his wife, who questioned his extramarital affair with another woman. He also threatened to kill his wife and heat her up.
A 35-year-old married woman lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa Police station. The police booked Akhtar Khan (45), Dost Khan (66) and Nurjahan Khan (62).
According to the police, the complainant is married to Akhtar Khan. She was being tortured for household chores and due to some issues during their wedding. The complainant doubted Akhtar’s illegitimate affair. She dared to ask him about this, which upset him. He abused and beat her up. He also threatened to kill her. The accused also sent the complainant the triple talaq notice by post. Hence, the police registered a case under the Muslim Women Act 2019 for domestic violence.
