Pune Crime News | History sheeter fired at in Mohammadwadi road area late on Monday night

Pune : Pune Crime News | A history sheeter was injured in a firing by two bike-borne persons on Mohammadwadi road late on Monday night.

The injured has been identified as Pachchis alias Faizan Ramzan Shaikh (21), a resident of Kondhwa. The incident took place at around 11.30 pm in Mohammadwadi road area. The police arrested one person in this connection.

A bullet is lodged in Shaikh’s stomach and he is undergoing treatment at the Sassoon General Hospital. The accused has been identified as Ghulam Daus Khan.

According to the details, Shaikh has body offences registered against him. He has an old enmity with the accused. Shaikh was going through the Mohammadwadi road area when two bike-borne persons fired at him and escaped. A bullet pierced Shaikh’s stomach. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where his health was stated to be stable.

Addl CP Ranjan Sharma, DCP Amol Zende, DCP Vikrant Deshmukh, DCP Suhail Sharma, ACP Satish Govekar, Sr PI Pratap Mankar of Anti-Extortion Cell, Pune Unit 2, Sr PI Bhausaheb Patare, Sr PI Shrihari Bahirat, Sr PI Ulhas Kadam and other police officers and personnel visited the crime spot.
