Pune Crime News | Gang thrashes children playing cricket at night; damages their vehicles

Pune: Pune Crime News | A gang abused, threatened and beat up children playing cricket at night in Bibvewadi. They also damaged their five motorcycles and a car with stones, earthen pots and a sickle.

 

Ankit Bhairuprasad Sain (24) lodged a complaint at the Market Yard police station in this regard. Balu Babu Pawar (19) from Bibvewadi, and his five accomplices have been booked. The incident took place in front of the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhavan at 10.30 pm on Wednesday.

 

According to the police, the complainant was playing cricket with his friends when Pawar and others arrived. They threatened the children to stop playing and abused them. They threw stones at the players. The frightened children started running away but they beat up and injured the children. Pawar threatened the complainant with the sickle and told him not to play there again. They also damaged the vehicles of the children. Pawar broke the windshields of the car parked in front of the ground.
