Pune Crime News | Crime Branch of Pune Police arrests two for selling LSD paper, Ozikush ganja in Balewadi area

Pune : Pune Crime News | In an action by the Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Pune City Police Crime Branch, two drug peddlers were arrested from Dasara Chowk from Balewadi Gaothan road in the Balewadi area.

 

LSD paper worth over Rs 1.46 lakh, Ozikush ganja (cannabis) amounting to Rs 20,000 and MDMA tablets, totally valued at Rs 1.66 lakh were confiscated from their possession.

 

The arrested have been identified as Tanuj Manojkumar Kamvrat (22), a resident of Kothrud, and Jeevan Biju Toton (20), a resident of Baner. According to details, the officials and personnel of Anti-Narcotics Cell 2 were patrolling within the limits of the Chatuhshrungi police station. API Shivaji Ghule received a tip-off that two persons were to arrive at Dasara Chowk on Balewadi Gaothan road to sell drugs.

 

The police confirmed the inputs and set a trap to nab the culprits. The narcotics worth over Rs 1.66 lakh were confiscated from them.

 

This action was taken under the guidance of CP Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Amol Zende and ACP Satish Govekar. PSI Digamber Chavan, PSI Shubhangi Narke, API Shivaji Ghule, policemen Santosh Deshpande, Prashant Bomdandi, Sandip Jadhav, Chetan Gaikwad, Azim Shaikh, Yuvraj Kamble, Yogesh Mandhre, Dinesh Bastewad and woman police constable Disha Khevalkar participated in the action.
