Pune Crime News | Attempt to rape minor girl fails in Mundhwa police station limits; Girl frees herself from the accused’s clutches

PUNE : Pune Crime News | Three youths tried to rape a minor girl by taking her to an isolated room when she was going to a public toilet but the 14-year-old girl displayed courage and freed herself from their clutches. The Mundhwa police have registered an FIR against the three youths.
The accused have been identified as Samer Shaikh, a resident of Panchsheelnagar, Ghorpadi, Katik, a resident of Ghorpadi and Mucha. The incident took place at Panchsheelnagar in Ghorpadi on Monday at 12.30 am to 1 am.

 

According to the police, the girl was going to a public toilet and she was watching something on the mobile while standing on the railway track. Three youths came there and they snatched her phone. When she demanded her phone, they told her that they wanted to have sex with her and assaulted her. They took her to an isolated room and tried to remove her clothes. However, she put up a stiff resistance and escaped from their clutches.

 

Sr PI Ajit Lakde, PI Pradeep Kakde and PSI SR Kate visited the spot. PSI Ashwini Bhosale is carrying out a probe into the incident.
