Pune Crime News | 24-year-old college woman went out of the house on a false pretext, later her dead body found floating in Chaskaman canal

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime News | A shocking incident has come to light about a 24-year-old woman committed suicide by jumping into the water of Chasakman canal in Khed taluka. The incident has created a stir in the area. The deceased has been identified as Sonali Dnyaneshwar Gaikwad (24). Father of the deceased Dnyaneshwar Balu Gaikwad has filed a complaint with the Khed police. (Pune Crime News)

According to the Khed police officials the deceased Sonali Gaikwad moved from her house at around 6 am on 4th August informing her parents that there was an event at Hutatma Rajguru College at Rajguru Nagar. As she did not return home till late her family searched for her, but they were shocked to find her dead body floating in the water at the back side of the Chaskaman canal near the Kalewadi road.

The family informed the Khed police about the incident. Police rushed to the spot and pulled out the body of the water. The deceased woman is a resident of Chaskaman area and her death has left the family in mourning. Sonali was studying in college and she was brilliant in studies, but her untimely death has shocked everyone in the area.

Meanwhile, the reason for the suicide of woman has not been ascertained yet and the Khed police are further investigating the matter.
