Pune Crime | MCOCA case accused’s aide gives packet of ganja to him on the premises of Shivajinagar court

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime | A shocking incident has been reported wherein an accused who had been arrested in a MCOCA case, was given ganja on the premises of the court. The fact that the accused was given ganja despite the police bandobast, has created a flutter. The incident took place on Thursday on the premises of the Shivajinagar court. An FIR has been registered against the person supplying ganja. ( Pune Crime)

A case has been registered against Mehboob Jabbar Pathan (25), a resident of Swargate and his aides. A case has been filed against Pathan under MCOCA. He was produced in the Shivajinagar court on Thursday. There was a police bandobast at that time. One of the aides of Pathan, taking advantage of the crowd at the court, gave a packet of ganja to Pathan. When the police searched Pathan, this shocking incident came to light. One gram of ganja was found in the packet given to Pathan.

 

A flutter has been created because the packet containing ganja was given to the accused when he was in police custody. A case has been filed against Pathan and his aide at the Shivajinagar police station, said Senior PI Arvind Mane. The police are examining the CCTV footage in the court area and the Pathan’s aide will be found soon, the police said.

 

The Shivajinagar police are investigating the case.
