Live-in relationship: Girl, parents beat up boy and his parents in Manjari
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | A girl who was in a live-in relationship with a boy and who had gone back to her parents’ house after a tiff with her partner, assaulted her partner’s father and relatives along with her relatives. (Pune Crime)
A 52-year-old resident of Mahadev Nagar in Manjari has lodged a complaint at the Hadapsar police station. Based on the complaint, the police have filed an FIR against Madhuri and her mother, father, Manoj Patil, Akash Raut, Ramdas Lohkare, all residents of Hadapsar.
According to the police, the complainant stays in Manjari for three years with his wife, two daughters and a son. His 23-year-old son who is working as a driver of a private vehicle, is in a live-in relationship with Madhuri for 18 months. They had a quarrel on June 23 and Madhuri went to her parents’ house. When the complainant’s son had gone out for work, Madhuri came to their house with her parents and relatives at 12.15 am.
They entered the complainant’s house by saying that they wanted to discuss something. They assaulted each and every family member. A man kicked his wife in the stomach. When the complainant retaliated, he was badly beaten up. The complainant’s daughter called up her brother and informed the police. When this son came, they thrashed him and decamped in the car.
