Lawyer rapes woman lawyer by drugging, blackmailing her
Pimpri : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | Following a recent rape by a lawyer in Pune, another such case was reported from Pimpri Chinchwad. A lawyer called a woman lawyer to a hotel for official work. Then he drugged and raped her.
The accused took her obscene photos, videos and blackmailed her. An offence has been registered against three, including the lawyer. The incident took place in Pimpri, Shivajinagar, Vadgaon Sheri, Kharadi between June-July 2018 and February 3, 2022.
Adv Ajay Apparao Satalkar (39), his female lawyer friend and another woman have been booked in this regard at the Pimpri police station. A 38-year-old woman lodged a complaint in this regard. According to the police, the complainant is a woman lawyer. Accused Satalkar is also a lawyer. He befriended the victim and later sought to have a romantic relationship with her. However, the complainant rejected it.
The accused told the victim that he had got a big assignment related to the SRA, a rehabilitation project. He called her to a hotel in Pimpri to discuss the matter with his client. He also wanted to explain to her the nature of work. The accused then offered her water laced with an intoxicant and forcefully had sex with her. He also took her intimate photos and made a video clip. He told her that he would marry her and told her not to reveal it to anyone.
The accused later called up the complainant and wanted to meet. However, she refused. Then he threatened to make her obscene photos viral on social media. He called her to various places and forcefully had sex with her. The accused woman lawyer and another woman abused and thrashed the complainant. They threatened her and told her to apologise.
The accused also sent her intimate photos, videos to her sister. They also showed the photos to her husband and harassed her, stated her complaint.
