Kondhwa police arrest three burglars for house burglaries, goods worth Rs 6 lakh seized
Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | The Kondhwa police have arrested three persons for their involvement in house burglaries. After their arrest, they have admitted their involvement in 10 burglaries. The police have seized goods worth Rs 5 lakh 91 thousand 500 from them. (Pune Crime)
The arrested accused have been identified as Rohit Nanabhau Lanke (21), a resident of Vishrantwadi, Mangesh Kumar Jadhav (19), a resident of Vishrantwadi and Sumit Mohan Shinde (21), a resident of Yerawada.
On March 26, 2022 at 10 am, the burglars entered the house of Arvind Khemchand Jain (38), a resident of Kondhwa Budruk by breaking the lock and decamped with goods worth Rs 6 lakh 40 thousand. A complaint has been registered at the Kondhwa police station.
While the police were probing the case, constable Satish Chavan, naik Nilesh Desai and Gorakhnath Chinke came to know that the burglars were going to arrive near the petrol pump at Kondhwa Budruk.
The police laid a trap after verifying the information and arrested the accused. The police seized a two-wheeler, two mobiles, a laptop, gold and silver ornaments totally worth Rs 5 lakh 91 thousand 500 from them.
The action was taken by a team of police officials including PSI Swapnil Patil, constable Satish Chavan, Jotiba Pawar, Tushar Alhat, Gorakhnath Chinke, Nilesh Desai, Laxman Holkar, Santosh Bansude and Sagar Bhosale under the guidance of CP Amitabh Gupta, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Namdev Chavan, DCP Namrata Patil, ACP Pournima Taware, senior PI Sardar Patil, PI Jagannath Jankar and PI Sanjay Mogle.
