Pune Crime | Highly educated woman jumps to death from 10th floor of a building due to harassment by boyfriend, husband, in-laws

Pune : NpNews24 OnlinePune Crime | A 27-year-old highly educated woman committed suicide by jumping from the 10th floor of a building as she was being harassed by her husband, in-laws and boyfriend. She had earlier tried to end life by jumping into a river. (Pune Crime)

 

The victim has been identified as Manasi Bhupendra Yadav. Her boyfriend Shirish Narendra Shah (33), a resident of Manjari, has been arrested in this regard. Her husband Bhupendra Mulayam Singh Yadav (30), father-in-law Mulayam Singh Yadav (52) and mother-in-law Rajkumari Mulayam Singh Yadav (50) have been booked by the Chandan Nagar Police.

 

According to the details given by the police, Manasi was married to Bhupendra Yadav while her in-laws live in Madhya Pradesh. Manasi was pursuing higher education in the city. She was staying in the Yin-Yang housing society in Kharadi. She got to know real estate agent Shirish Shah. Her husband and in-laws were asking her to sign the divorce papers. Shah was also insisting on getting married in spite of knowing that she is already married. He used to demand money from Manasi.

 

Meanwhile, Manasi once tried to kill herself by diving into a river. However, people saved her and brought her back to her residence. Now, she has jumped to death from the 10th floor of a building. API Manohar Sonawane is investigating the matter.
