Pune Crime | Former NCP corporator threatens woman circle officer of imprisonment

Pimpri : NpNews24 Online Pune Crime |  A former NCP corporator, who was angry because of an adverse verdict, threatened to file an Atrocity Act against a woman circle officer and put her in jail. (Pune Crime)

 

A case of obstruction in government work has been filed at MIDC Bhosari police station against former corporator of NCP Kaluram Maruti Pawar, Ashok Kisanrao Bhairwade and Sagar Bahirwade.

 

The mandal officer has filed a complaint at the police station. Accordingly, the police have registered a case against Kaluram Maruti Pawar, Sagar Bhairwade, a resident of Gawliwada, Chinchwad under sections 353, 341, 506,6 and 3 of the IPC. The incident happened on Thursday (May 5) at 12.15 pm at the Mandal Circle Officer’s office at Landewadi.

 

According to the information given by PSI Navnath Chapale, the complainant is working as a circle officer in the Mandal Circle Office at Landewadi in Bhosari. The accused threatened her by saying, “Why did you give an unfavourable verdict? I will see how you will work here,” and tried to snatch official documents from her hand. Later, the complainant was going to Chikhali to do a panchnama of the bullock cart race.

 

The accused stopped her two-wheeler and took away the key. They also stopped her and obstructed government work. As per the complaint, the corporator threatened her by saying that he would send her to jail by filing an Atrocity Case against her.
