FIR filed at Hinjewadi police station against youth, his father for assaulting tempo driver and throwing him into water

However, the two-wheeler rider’s relative assaulted the tempo driver and he became unconscious. He later threw the drier into the water and tried to kill him. Ramesh Balu Pawar (21), a resident of Arjun Nagar, Mhalunge has lodged a complaint at the Hinjewadi police station. Accordingly, the police have filed an FIR against Sanket Dilip Shedge and Dilip Shedge, residents of Shivaji Chowk, Mhalunge.

 

According to the police, Ramesh Pawar is a tempo driver and on July 12, he was returning home after doing some work at Ghotawade Phata at 10 pm. When he neared home, he was turning right after switching on the indicator. Sanket came on a two-wheeler from the opposite direction and rammed into the two-wheeler from the front. He fell on the road and Pawar took him to a hospital.

 

Sanket and his father, instead of getting treatment for the former at the hospital, came to Mahalaxmi temple chowk. He asked Ramesh who was driving his tempo. When Ramesh told them that he was driving the tempo, they started assaulting him. Their cousin tried to stop them but Dilip Shedge beat him up. Sanket tried to throttle Ramesh’s neck and tried to pull him towards the Mhalunge village. At that time, Ramesh’s mother, grandmother and brother tried to stop him. Sanket threw Ramesh into the water and Ramesh became unconscious. His brother and others took him to Medipoint Hospital at Aundh. Ramesh Pawar came to his senses after treatment. The police have filed a case against Sanket and Dilip Shedge.
