Pune Crime | Criminal brutally killed in Hadapsar

Pune : NpNews24 Online  – Pune Crime | A criminal involved in a murder case was hacked to death by using a chopper in Hadapsar. The deceased has been identified as Mangesh Kishor Shingade (26), a resident of Bhekrai Nagar.

Raju Vishnu Shingade (53) of Papade Vasti lodged a complaint at the Hadapsar police station in this regard. The incident took place at around 7.30 pm on Monday in front of Shree Multipurpose Hall near Bhekarai bus depot in Fursungi.

According to the police, Mangesh Shingade was booked in 2016 for an accidental death. Mangesh was standing at the spot when the assailants attacked him with the chopper. He received wounds in his face and head. They escaped after he collapsed.

Police officials, including DCP Namrata Patil and ACP Rajendra Galande, visited the spot after learning about the incident. The motive behind the murder was not known. The police suspect old rivalry behind the murder.

The Hadapsar police are investigating.
