Criminal attacks youth with sickle in Bopodi

Pune : NpNews24 Online – Pune Crime | A notorious criminal attempted to kill a youth by attacking him with a sickle. The police have filed an attempt to kill (IPC 307) case for the second time against the criminal. The criminal threatened the youth by saying, “I was in jail for three months because you had filed a case under IPC 307 against me. I will teach you a lesson today.”

A case has been filed against Rohit Gadre, a resident of Dapodi and two of his accomplices. Abhishek Tukaram More (30), a resident of Bopodi has filed a complaint at the Khadki police station. The incident took place at Shivaji Garden in Bopodi near a Chinese food joint on Monday at 11 pm.

The complainant and his friend Nikhil Gaikwad had gone to a Chinese food joint near Shivaji Garden. Rohit Gadre came there with two of his friends. He attacked the complainant with a sickle by saying, “Why are you looking at me? I went to jail because of you. You had filed a case against me under IPC 307. Don’t be arrogant and I will teach you a lesson today.” The complainant raised his left hand and received an injury on the hand.

The other accused beat up the complainant and resorted to shouting by brandishing sickles. Hence, the police have filed an attempt to murder case. API Bhabad is investigating the case.
