Cheating of businessman and court: Case registered against Shankar Kalbhor of Kohinoor Trade Home

Pune : NpNews24 OnlinePune Crime | A fraud case has come to light where a businessman and the court were cheated by making a duplicate stamp of a company and signature. A case has been registered against a father-son duo at the Pimpri police station. The incident took place between December 4, 2017 to March 28, 2019.

 

The accused have been identified as Rohit Shankar Kalbhor (35) and Shankar Namdev Kalbhor (58), both residing at SN 25, plot number 238, Jain Temple Road, Near Madanlal Dhingra Ground, Pradhikaran. Pavan Manoharlal Lodha, (34), a resident of Nitesh Kunj, plot number 2, sector 24, Nigdi Pradhikaran has lodged a complaint at the Pimpri police station.

 

Lodha has filed an application in the court through Adv Sagar Tilak. The court has taken note of the application and has asked the police to lodge a complaint and carry out an investigation.

 

Complainant Pawan Lodha has a company Axayya Alloys Pvt Ltd at Kharabwadi in Chakan. The scrap is used to manufacture aluminium rods and sheds. Kalbhor supplies scrap to the complainant. Rohit Kalbhor supplied aluminium scrap from November 2016 to January 2017 through Kohinoor Trade Home Pvt Ltd. The complainant’s company paid the money with taxes to Kalbhor’s company.

 

Meanwhile, Rohit Kalbhor asked for a deposit from the complainant. Accordingly, the complainant gave 7 cheques of Rs 10 lakh and a cheque of Rs 8 lakh 92 thousand 658 totalling 8 cheques of Rs 78 lakh 92 thousand 658 favouring Rohit Kalbhor’s Kohinoor Trade Home Pvt Ltd.

 

The complainant had given all the money but the accused misused the cheque and submitted it in the bank by writing the date as December 4, 2017.

 

The complainant had a doubt that the cheque may be misused and asked the officials of Bhosari branch of Cosmos Bank to stop payment of the cheque. Hence, the cheques could not be cleared.

 

Hence, the accused sent a legal notice to the complainant and filed a case in the Pimpri court against the complainant and his company’s director.

 

The accused while filing a case in the court used the complainant’s sign and stamps of the company to submit the company’s accounts books. They also submitted a false complaint and false affidavit. The court sent the documents submitted to check the handwriting. During checking, it came to light that there is a lot of difference in the signature of the complainant and the signature on the account books. A case has been registered against the accused for cheating the complainant and the court at the Pimpri police station.

 

Meanwhile, a case of cheating by getting the ancestral property transferred in their favour has been registered against accused Shankar Namdev Kalbhor, Rohit Shankar Kalbhor and Rohan Shankar Kalbhor at the Nigdi police station. Shankar Kalbhor’s brother Gyanoba Namdev Kalbhor filed a complaint on January 20, 2022.

 

Shankar Kalbhor had made a false thumb impression of the complainant’s father and fake signature of the complainant, the complaint says.

 

The accused Shankar Kalbhor is a close relative of the state president of a national political party and Rohan Kalbhor is his son-in-law, according to some sources.
