Cashier who had stolen Rs 43 lakh for fun arrested from Goa by Lonikand police

Pune : NpNews24 OnlinePune Crime | An incident had come to light wherein Rs 43 lakh belonging to Jumbotel Technology Company was stolen. The company is engaged in selling groceries at wholesale prices and is located in Lonikand. A case had been registered against the cashier at the Lonikand police station. (Pune Crime)

 

The Lonikand police probed the case and arrested the accused within four days. The accused has been identified as Pushkar Ninad Sangamnerkar (29), a resident of Rasta Peth, Pune. The Lonikand police arrested him from Goa.

 

Sangamnerkar, who had stolen Rs 43 lakh of the company, was hiding in Goa and when the police came to know this, a team of police officials including API Nikhil Pawar, policeman Ajit Farande, Amol Dhone arrested him from Goa. The police have seized Rs 41 lakh 400 from him.

 

The action was taken by a team of police officials including API Nikhil Pawar, API Gajanan Jadhav, PSI Suraj Gore, Kailas Salunke, Vinayak Salve, Sudhir Ahivale, Sagar Shedge, Balasaheb Tanpure, Mohan Walke, Balasaheb Sakate and Samir Pilane under the guidance of Lonikand police station’s Senior PI Gajanan Pawar, PI Rajesh Tatkare and PI Maruti Patil.
