8-yr-old daughter of a builder gets injured during his fight with wife in Narhe

Pune : NpNews24 Online  –  Pune Crime | A drunk man fired a bullet from his revolver during a fight with his wife and their 8-year-old was injured at Heramb Heights in Narhe at 8 pm on Friday. (Pune Crime)

The injured has been identified as Rajnandini Pandurang Ubhe. She is being treated at a private hospital. The Sinhagad police arrested builder Pandurang Tukaram Ubhe (38), a resident of Narhe.

According to the police, Pandurang Ubhe is a realtor and has a licenced revolver. He is facing financial issues following slowdown in business. He is an alcoholic and came home drunk on Friday night, which led to a fight between him and his wife. Pandurang pointed his revolver at his wife. Their daughter tried to intervene and received the bullet injury in her left chest and collapsed.

Neighbours rushed to the spot after hearing the gunshot. They shifted Rajnandini to Bharati Hospital immediately. The Sinhagad police reached the hospital after learning about the incident. They shifted Rajnandini to a private hospital for better treatment. Her health was stated to be stable. Pandurang Ubhe was at home. The police arrested him.
