Pune Camp : Wife accuses husband of stealing two mobile phones and gas cylinder

Pune: In a bizarre incident, a wife has accused her husband of stealing two mobile phones and a gas cylinder from their house in the Camp area of Pune city. The incident reportedly took place at the Army Quarters on Gurudwara road in Pune Cantonment area.

A case has been registered against the man at the Cantonment Police Station. The husband-wife duo had marital disputes after which the case has been registered.

According to police, the accused husband is an auto rickshaw driver. He was suffering from income loss from the past few months and it led to family disputes between the two. The two were staying separate because of the dispute between them.

As per the complaint, the husband came home on Thursday (November 5) afternoon at around 1.30pm. He entered the house from an open window and allegedly stole two mobile phones and a gas cylinder.

Assistant Police Inspector Manmeet Raut is investigating the case.
