President’s Police Medal-Maharashtra | 51 police medals for Maharashtra, 4 officers receive President’s Medal

New Delhi : NpNews24 Online Team – President’s Police Medal-Maharashtra | Police medals were announced on Tuesday, on the eve of Republic Day. In all, 51 police officials from Maharashtra have been honoured with police medals. Of these four officers have got the President’s Medal for distinguished service. Seven police officers got the President’s Gallantry Medal while 40 police officials received Police Medals.

The Union Ministry of Home Affairs announces these medals on the occasion of Republic Day every year. In all, 939 police medals have been announced. Of these, 88 police officials got the President’s Medal for distinguished service. In all, 189 police officials got the Police Gallantry Medal while 662 got Police Medals for the commendable service. Two President’s Gallantry Awards have been given this year.

Four officers from Maharashtra have got the President’s Medal for distinguished service.
